The ‘Boccia’ International Sports Exchange Was Held
On Sunday, the seventeenth of November, Boccia was held in the Nakano Zero West Wing. Thirty Americans participated.
It was somewhat unfortunate that comparatively few participants hailed from nations other than Japan. We had hoped to have involved even more guests fro abroad. However, the Japanese helped to overcome this with their rousing enthusiasm for games! Although the majority have experienced Boccia for the first time, they enjoyed it immediately.
The participants said that they would like to see Boccia at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2020. The clear consensus was that our event was quite enjoyable and fun.
