For the second outdoor exchange supported by Friday volunteers, we strolled around Saginomiya – Nogata areas. The weather on the day was good and we started from Saginomiya Station. We prayed at Saginomiya Hachiman Shrine, in Fukuzouin we admired colourful Autumn leaves and we enjoyed some recreational activities in Shirasagi Seseragi Park.
Then we passed Kasei-chan Monument and the famous ground meat cutlets from Nakajimaya Butcher were distributed to the all participants.
The destination was Nogata Town Office ruins (Nogata Civic Activity Centre). Some quizzes were played place to place and they were highly enjoyed.
As we had done in Higashi Nakano Course, we hired a wheelchair to confirm this course was accessible. The participants had an experience of using the wheelchair or pushing it.
The feedbacks were “I enjoyed the recreational activities,’ “I like to join next time as well.”
The next walking course will be around Nakano Station. Please look forward to joining!
