The exchange program on dispatch of children to Wellington, New Zealand is the 16th anniversary in this year. A total of 615 children visited a country each other by the friendship exchange program. Nineteen students from Nakano city junior high school stayed in Wellington for 18 days from July 22nd (Friday) to August 8th (Monday). All the students did homestay excluding three days of outdoor activities. During the stay, students did experimental learning at two schools for one week and also they experienced special English classes. The students fully enjoyed the culture and nature in New Zealand through sightseeing of the city and outdoor activities regardless of the opposite season against in Japan. The return home debriefing session was held at NAKANO ZERO west building on August 27th (Saturday), and participated students mentioned their original impressions. The students discovered a lot of things and it seems to have irreplaceable experience. The office expresses the appreciation for all the persons who assisted this friendship exchange program.
