Association for Nakano International Communications (ANIC) was established as a voluntary organization in 1989, and became an incorporated foundation in 1991. Then, in March 2002, ANIC dissolved the foundation. In April of the same year, ANIC returned to being active as a voluntary organization. ANIC celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2009. Making efforts to keep plans current with the times, ANIC is collaborating with Nakano City and pro-actively expanding the organization.
