Japanese Language Course for Teaching Volunteers

This Year’s Upcoming Useful Japanese Language Course for Teaching Volunteers!

 

The course is for the training of Japanese-language volunteer teachers for adults and children enrolled in the ANIC Japanese Language Course.

 

Applications: Applications begin being received on October 5th (Thursday). Applications must arrive no later than October 19th (Friday).

 

Participants: There will be approximately thirty participants, to be determined by lot (random chance).

 

The Course Guide and application forms will be available for downloading via the ANIC home page in October.

 

<Course Details>

Period and Dates: The first day occurs on November 20th of this year. The conclusion is on March 26th of next year. Including spare days—there are fifteen classes, all of which occur on Tuesdays, from 6:30PM to 9:00PM.

 

Location: Nakano Zero Nishi-kan (West Wing, 2–9–7 Nakano, Nakano-ku), ANIC Conference Room

 

Eligible Participants: Those who are over twenty years of age and who live/work/attend schools in Nakano-ku, including ANIC’s supporting members and volunteers. Those eligible must be able to teach Japanese language classes during these time lots––-Tuesdays, 10AM–12 (noon), 2–4PM, 4:15–5:50PM, 6:30–8:30PM.

 

Fee: Tuitionis15,000 yen, which includes the Supporting Membership Fee.

 

Text Materials: The cost is approximately 1,400 yen.

 

<Application>

Period: October 5th (Thursday) – no later than October 25th (Wednesday)

 

Participants: Approximately thirty participants will be selected via lot (random chance)

 

Applications will be only accepted at the ANIC front desk during the following time periods: Mondays through Fridays, 9AM–5PM. Applications cannot be accepted via fax, e-mail, or postal mail.

  • The Application Form

This can be downloaded at the ANIC home page in October. The items to be added to it by applicants include the applicant’s name, address, phone number, age, and the name and place of work (or school attended ) in Nakano-ku; whether or not the applicant is a member or a non-member; the applicant’s relevant education-related experiences, credentials; the applicant’s participation of regional activities, volunteer works, and related matters.

 

  • The Small Essay

Multi-cultural cohabitant in the area and the role of volunteers (approximately 1,000 handwritten characters.)

 

The announcement will be occur in the October 5th issue of the Nakano-ku Report (ku-ho). The Course Guide and application forms will be available in the community centers (chiki sentaa) in Nakano-ku, in October.
