This autumn, from Friday 22 September to Saturday 7 October, junior high school students from Wellington, New Zealand, are scheduled to stay with host families in the ward, experience the ward junior high schools (Nakano Junior High School, Nakano Higashi Junior High School and Minami Nakano Junior High School) and tour facilities in the Tokyo area.
We are looking for volunteer interpreters who can help with these activities.
Volunteer interpreters are needed to assist with the students in special lessons such as learning Koto, tea ceremony and flower arrangement so on.
Date and time: Monday 25 September to Thursday 5 October at convenient times on weekdays (generally from 8:30~17:30).
Interpretation for special classes, etc. at the time of trial enrolment
from Monday 25 Sep to Friday 29 Sep : 1-2 hours per session at each school.
Monday 2 – Thursday 5 October: Interpretation for tours of facilities in the Tokyo area, generally 8:30-17:30.
Participation is possible on more than one day or on one day only.
