Will hold an informational meeting for host families preparing to home visits.

The 2018 Home Visit Program for students from abroad will have a cultural exchange, inviting students into a Japanese home:

 

1) Home visit: Tentatively, it will be either on February 3rd (Saturday), or on February 4th (Sunday) in 2018.  The approximate time is 11a.m. to 3p.m.

2) Informational meeting: 11a.m., January 21 (Sunday), at Conference Room 1 at ANIC( the Association for Nakano International Communications) in Nakano Zero Hall’s West Wing on the 3rd floor.

3) Application: Applicants must submit the application form by January 15th

[Qs and As]

  • What are the qualifications?: Possessing an adequate understanding of international communications and not having a single-occupant home. All family members must approve of this undertaking: there must be a total family consensus.
  • What is the purpose of the visit?: It is for the enjoyment of conversations over tea and sweets for teatime and/or simple homemade food for lunch.
  • How many visitors?: 1-2
  • What are their nationalities?: It is dependent on who has applied.
  • Which language will be used during the conversation?: Easy Japanese mixed with other languages, including English
  • Who is responsible for paying the expenses?: Each family that participate.
