We visited the class at the Secondary School attached to the University of Tokyo！
Mr. Nurul (Bangladeshi), Ms. Hang (Vietnamese), Ms. Lu (Chinese) and Ms. Nausa (Nepalese) visited 1st grade students in a lesson of the introduction of active learning at the Secondary School attached to the Faculty of Education of University of Tokyo in Nakano Minamidai. The purpose of the class is to interact with foreign residents in Japan and the students had prepared some questions on the cultural differences and what impressions foreign people had in living in Japan and the visitors gave answers to the questions. They expressed the difficulty in understanding what Japanese people were really thinking as Japanese do not say things clearly, but also there was a positive experience when money was returned which had been left in a shop unintentionally. The people who cooperated for the students to understand the diversity fulfilled well the students’ needs.
