「The stamp exhibition and postcard exchange celebrating the 50th anniversary of restoration of diplomatic relations between Japan and China」was held for 3 days between Thursday the 29th September and Saturday the 1st of October at West Wing of Nakano Zero Hall. On the first day, mail enthusiasts in Beijing were connected online and Nakano residents exchanged their original postcards with them. The venue was crowded with people who posted postcards with commemorative stamps and commemorative postmarks which were only available on the day. On the last day Mr. Tamaki who is one of scarce 8 stamp designers in Japan gave some episodes on the days of designing 50th anniversary commemorative stamps. It was understood that by the time one stamp was made a lot of emotions and feelings were involved in choosing designs and selecting paper, brushes and tools for charcoal paintings.
