A teacher from Nakano Technical High School visited us!
On the 3 of November (national holiday), the 10th briefing session on high school admission for parents and children whose mother tongue is a foreign language was held. About 30 parents and children from China and Nepal gathered to hear about metropolitan high schools with quotas for foreigners living in Tokyo and special measures for general entrance examinations. For the first time, we also invited the vice-principal of Nakano Technical High School’s regular course to talk about classes, qualifications, career paths after graduation and employment. The children, who had been nervous about taking the entrance examinations because of the vagueness of the subject, had the opportunity to learn about what they would learn at the high school in concrete terms and to face up to their own career paths.
