Exterminating demons in Japanese class!!
A ‘Setsubun’ event was held in Japanese class.
The volunteers explained about Setsubun in easy Japanese, and then demonstrated how to throw beans.
Some Volunteers and some students acted as demons and everyone said “Oni wa soto (Demons out!)” and threw beans at the demons.
After the demons went out, some volunteers and some students became the lucky ones (Fuku) and everyone said “Fuku wa uchi ( Fortune in!)”
Finally, the beans were distributed to everyone.
