Following the last year, ANIC took part in the Guinness World Record challenging at Bon Dancing event called SEKAI TO BON-ODORU, with a total of 50 people from China, Nepal, France, Poland, Spain, the UK, Tunisia, the Philippines, India, Togo, Cote d’Ivoire, Germany, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan. Last year, 36 people took part.
Although the Guinness competition ended in failure, the ANIC Japanese language learners who took part were not concerned with the result, they said, ‘it was fun to dance in Yukata.’ ‘Will there be another one next year?’ they asked.
Many volunteers from ANIC helped with this event. Many Yukata have also been donated. This time, ANIC volunteers also dressed 12 international students from Meiji University.
All of ANIC’s projects are made possible by the ‘power of volunteers.
